Retired university professor Xu Fenghuang has seen some of the most chaotic times of Chinese history. Despite all the excitement in his life, Xu's spending his retired years playing brain games. Sina Games reports that Xu credits games as one of the reasons that his mind is alert and active.
Sina Games says that Xu, who was a professor at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, spends parts of his day playing video games.
Speaking about his father, Xu Xiyuan says that the elder Xu plays games in the brick break and puzzle genres. Sina also reports that he's recently gotten into connect three games.
In addition to gaming, Xu spends a lot of his time reading.
"He likes to read novels," said Xu's son. "He used to visit the library himself and check out novels, particularly historical fiction such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms."
The elder Xu is also a creature of habit. He wakes up at 6.30 in the morning, reads the paper, takes a nap around noon, does whatever he does and then goes to bed at around 9. I wonder how many hours of games such as Candy Crush Xu plays a day.
