This Week In Games: It Is Your Destiny

Oh boy. It’s Destiny week. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Who else dares compete? Who else dares go toe-to-toe with Bungie’s latest juggernaut. No-one really, asides from the usual suspects on Steam and some cool DLC. Wise move other video games!

Destiny (360/PS3/Xbox One/PS4)

What is it? Oh God. It’s happening.
Should you care? Hold me. (Yes, I think this will be a good game).

Fable Anniversary (PC)

What is it? It’s Fable in full HD with all the trimmings.
Should you care? Meh. I don’t care. You might be nostalgic for that game, I can’t muster it.

inFamous: First Light (PS4)

What is it? It’s the DLC for inFamous ya dingus. Based on a completely different character.
Should you care? I made the mistake of writing off The Last of Us DLC, maybe I shouldn’t make the same mistake twice.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Rivals Edition (360/PS3)

What is it? Man this Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series is really still going isn’t it? How many subtitles can one game have?
Should you care? A general rule for me: the longer the title, the less interested I am. This goes for any game based on an anime ever.

NHL 15 (360/PS3/Xbox One/PS4)

What is it? It’s the annual update to the hockey game that hockey fans play.
Should you care? Are you a hockey fan? Or one of those people that plays all sports games regardless of the sport? THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!

planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ (PC)

What is it? A ‘legendary’ Japanese visual novel, available for the first time in English on Steam.
Should you care? I don’t care. Seems incredibly niche, but whatever floats your boat.

Velocibox (PC)

What is it? This game is all about sheer speed and the sensation of speed. It looks cool. Apparently it’s difficult. Extremely difficult. In a good way.
Should you care? This is exactly the kind of game I could fall in love with. Reflex, twitch based manoeuvring. Insane speed. Leaderboards. Yep. This looks cool in my book.
