Every time I see awesome articles like this on Giz/kota about Eve it makes me want to play it so badly, then I remember how dull the gameplay is and feel sad.

When the first quest of eve is for you to click to go to an asteroid and the only controls you have for said ship/s are the speed of the thrusters it kind of kills it for you. I was secretly hoping you would have full control like Freelancer (the game)

Star Citizen is the solution, and Elite Dangerous will be a nice distraction while SC gets made (SC is a LONG LONG way off, think 2016)
