And it’s a documentary that I want to watch.
It appears to combine footage from the game’s initial launch back in 2004, alongside insights into the remake itself according to this recently released teaser.
In a gaming environment where there are major launch at least every three or four months, it’s easy to forget just how big a deal Halo 2 was when in launch on the original Xbox. It practically justified the existence of Xbox LIVE for years, and it was the very first midnight launch I attended.
It remains, probably, the game I’ve spent the most time playing. So many hours in matchmaking. So many hours trying to get that stupid level up. Good times indeed. Very much looking forward to reliving those times with the Halo: Master Chief Collection.
