And it’s called “Pink Cola”, because, as you can see, yes, the drink is pink. As Suntory announces in an official release, this Pepsi is strawberry milk-flavoured. It joins the ranks of other limited-time only Pepsi flavours released in Japan, like Ice Cucumber Pepsi, Salty Watermelon Pepsi, Red Bean Pepsi, among others.
This isn’t the first time that the strawberry milk-flavoured Pepsi has been released in Japan. It previously hit store shelves in 2011, which you can see in these photos from Gigazine:

Apparently, this is a very sweet-tasting drink, as if the colour didn’t clue you into that.
The latest Pepsi Pink will go on sale on December 9 in Japan. So pink!

So help me, salty watermelon was fantastic.
It has pink in it. Pink is a fruit.
Why can’t pepsi bring these flavours to western shores?
its simple. Japan is the testing grounds for all new drinks. theres more flavors than you could poke a stick at in Japan. if they last long enough then they get shipped elsewhere as trends come and go just like that in Japan…..
Sounds like Coke needs to learn from Pepsi. Innovation right here.
Coke’s marketing video for Coke green is funny.
“In the 80’s we developed Diet Coke. After years of innovation we brought you coke Zero” (released 2005).
Wait! Diet coke and coke zero are different?
different types of artificial sweetener. that’s about it.
Diet coke is coke made to taste good with the artificial sweeteners. It’s a different flavour of coke.
Coke Zero is make to taste like original coke but with artificial sweeteners and not sugar.
They are a little bit
But I still drink coke over zero or diet, or lord forbid, caffeine free diet coke (honestly what’s the point, if you want to drink coke without the sugar or the caffeine, pick another goddamned drink)
I tried to make fizzy chocolate milk once by putting chocolate milk in a soda-stream.
Oh my effing god. It exploded, and instantly curdled the milk. My dreams of my fizzy milk empire were never realised.
Considering I’m a fan of the Tiro Pink Grapefruit drink which is the exact same colour but a mix of sweet and tart, no, the colour did not clue me in. I just hope it’s a flavour though and there’s no milk in the drink. I had this energy drink once that tasted like milk coffee dumped into Red Bull and it was foul.
I’m pretty sure that Strawberry-Milk-Pepsi is one of the signs of the Apocalypse 😛
