If you have any video game coffee table books, they’re probably about concept art, or maybe even cosplay. But Every Day is Play is a little different. It’s just about games and nice art, and how that art (and our enjoyment of it) is just a really cool way to celebrate video games.
Originally a 2013 Kickstarter, the book is now available for general purchase. It’s shipping in two flavours, a regular hardcover and — in true video game collector’s version style — a “console pack” edition, which is much fancier, coming in a big box and including a T-shirt, poster and other swag.
You can see some sample pages and product shots below. Needless to say, this thing looks awesome.

Not cheap, but it looks really well put together, and the content looks beautiful, I might check this out.
That’s really cool, but sweet jesus is it expensive. $91 for the book with shipping, or $273 for the console bundle with shipping.
Check out this Amiga one on it’s way to $200,000AUD:
