There's A Pretty Good Blade Runner Reference In Alien: Isolation

It's wild to think that one film director — Ridley Scott — is responsible for two of the most influential sci-fi films of all time.

Alien: Isolation, the (pretty good!) new horror game from Creative Assembly, pays direct homage to one of those films, Scott's 1979 horror classic Alien. What I totally missed while playing it (I can't believe I missed this) is that it also sneaks in a nod to the director's other masterpiece, 1982's Blade Runner.

Eurogamer spotted the easter egg, and runs through where to find it in this video:

Not bad. It's probably not enough to get me to creep through those scary-arse levels one more time just to see if I can find them, but it's good to know those little origami figures are out there.

Apparently Blade Runner and Alien are more or less in the same universe so it makes sense.
