Alvin Lim’s LEGO project features classic cartoon characters from the 80s, but this time it’s not the Ninja Turtles or Transformers, but characters from an underdog show: Centurions.
If you don’t remember or were too young, the show was basically about blowing up bad guys and their robot army. Simple but awesome. The intro sums it up perfectly:
And here are the LEGO minifig versions of the main characters. The project is up on LEGO Ideas, awaiting votes.

They should totally do He-Man, M.A.S.K., Voltron, Robotech, *insert 80’s cartoon name here*….
I know Robotech is done a lot in Fan Creations.
I am totally unfamiliar with this series but I think I may have once ended up with some kind of knockoff toy of it in an Easter Show bag.
i recall them…never had the toys though….
I wanted the toys soooo bad as a kid.
I actually used to make my own Lego Centurions.
Centurions was right up there with Silver Hawks, which was under Transformers and He-Man. But still awesome!
In all honesty, the cartoon of Centurions was an utter train wreck of cliche & stupidity but the machines were totally awesome. Same with the toys.
Honestly surprised that they haven’t tried to reboot it yet.
Sweet. All I need now is the Silverhawks set. 🙂
