Fried shrimp or “ebi furai” (エビフライ) is a popular dish in Japan. Here’s one way to make it quickly — in three seconds, to be exact. That doesn’t include the prep time, though!

Yeah haha, am dubious about whether 0.1 second (or less) of passing through a flame (no matter how hot?) would cook it :p
Raw prawns aren’t pink like that. They look precooked, so only the batter needs cooking.
It’s just physically impossible due to the Leidenfrost effect(which lets you put your hand quickly in liquid nitrogen and not end up like the T-1000, or to put your hand through a cigarette lighter flame, or water to surf on a hotplate). Just a switch to look cool for a video.
