Two-Year-Old Superman Was A Complete Nightmare

Two-Year-Old Superman Was A Complete Nightmare

A normal two year old is a force to be reckoned with. A two year old with superhuman abilities fuelled by our planet’s yellow sun? It’s a miracle Ma and Pa Kent survived.

Warning: Video will auto-play.

The Nerdist treads on familiar ground with its latest video, “Superman – Terrible Twos”. Kyle Baker explored the joy of a bouncing baby Clark Kent in “Letitia Lerner, Superman’s Babysitter”, a short story from 1999’s Giant-Size Elseworlds special, a comic withdrawn and scrapped due to objectionable content in that very story. In it we see the super-baby chained in a crib with a boulder on top of it. Later we see him electrocuted and stuffed into a microwave. You know, standard kid stuff.

The Nerdist’s take, starring Matt Hobby of Boardwalk Empire and Jessica Chobot who used to do some gaming stuff, is much more tame.

Suddenly, I feel much better about my two three-year-old boys.
