A Horror Game Where Aliens Abduct Your Baby

The Hum: Abductions is a horror game that looks like what you would get if you mixed P.T., Gone Home and aliens. Meaning: It looks excellent.

From the game's website:

In "Abductions", you will play the role of Holly Sanders, a mother and wife, who is living hard days since her husband's mysterious vanishing, months ago.Lonely and disturbed, with her little son Dan as only company, Holly will uncover the past and present events of the Sanders family, while facing a terrifying approaching revelation

According to the developers, you'll be able to play levels that take place inside your mind while aliens experiment on you. The game will release on PC, Mac, and PS4 — and it will have Oculus Rift support, for added scares.

You can keep up with the game's development here.

A simple trailer shouldn't be enough to make you crap your pants, but... here we are.

Anyone else super creeped out by this trailer?
Yep I'm sleeping tonight with a baseball bat next to the bed

yep well that was creepy as. going to be playing mario kart tonight before i go to sleep. happy tunes happy tunes.

Man, I ALWAYS sleep with a baseball bat next to the bed! I live next to three govey houses that hate each other and throw beer bottles at each other!...

I feel like they gave way too much away with that synopsis. Finding that stuff out as you played would've been cool. (I likes me some visual storytelling.)

"According to the developers, you’ll be able to play levels that take place inside your mind while aliens experiment on you." SOLD.

Though as a loving husband with 2 kids under 4, I'll keep this one away from the wife!

*Edit - anyone get flashbacks to Mulder's sister getting abducted in the X-files? (that's a good thing!)

That whole scene felt a little too much like Dark Skies, i.e. not original.

Is it just me that is annoyed with the 30fps extreme motion blurring gameplay?

Looks great, but that kid was some kind of crazy drawing prodigy. No wonder they wanted him.
