H1Z1 Is Only One Week In, But It’s Already Hilarious

H1Z1 didn’t exactly get off to the best of starts but now, one week in, we’re starting to get an idea of what the game is capable of. We’ve also learned that bears can walk upstairs.

Much like DayZ, H1Z1 really is a game that was built for YouTube and, as such, the internet is already awash with videos. I thought I’d put together a quick selection of some of my favourites.

I haven’t even played the game yet — it seems pretty buggy and broken at the moment, but people seem to be having a lot of fun with it. I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves. To be perfectly honest I’m just interested in seeing the crazy situations the game presents to players.

At the moment it seems to be all about bears, cars coming out of trees and shooting people with bows and arrows from ridiculous distances.

Be aware, you are about to watch videos featuring loud obnoxious YouTubers. It’s not for everybody!

  • I am really torn, I want to play this game as it looks like a more advanced Rust, but cash shop air drops and early access are two things I don’t want to mess with right now

    • Air drops are a none issue, the drop comes no where near the person that buys them and every player on the map sees it happen. They then fight over the drop so the person “buying” it gets it literally 5% of the time, 95% they are at a loss. + the creates can contain nothing at all.

    • I was worried too, but there are so many game rules with air drops you’d have to either already be the strongest gang in the game or using them 24/7 to ever get anything and live.

  • It’s actually pretty fun at the moment. Mind you I’m playing on a PvE server and having a blast.

Yes, airdrops suck if only because even on PvE servers others can take the loot that you paid for.

Still, early access alpha, but the devs have already shown they’re very committed to this game (pulling an all nighter after a recent patch caused more problems which resulted in extended downtime) so I’m looking forward to what’s in store for the game.
