In Space, No One Can Hear Your Gnarly Missile Jumps

We last featured Nick Carver’s work in 2012, when he was still involved in what would become Blizzard’s Overwatch. He’s since moved onto something with more robots in it.

He’s now working on a project called Bounty Hacker, which will hopefully one day be a video game but for now is a collection of concept art.

“The idea is influenced by a number of things that I love”, he tells me. “Shadow of the Colossus, Monster Hunter, retrograde sci-fi…the game is about hunting down and destroying rogue, modular machines on procedurally generated planetoids.”

You can see some of the art below, with more on Bounty Hacker’s website.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios. If you’re in the business and have some concept, environment, promotional or character art you’d like to share, drop us a line!
