Playing Vanquish One-Handed Has Never Looked So Easy

One of the most impressive things I’ve seen yet during Awesome Games Done Quick 2015, the speedrunning marathon for charity, is disabled gamer “half-coordinated” demolishing Platinum Games’ Vanquish with only one hand.

He prefaced his run by explaining that one-handed is his normal way of playing. He suffers from Hemiparesis, which causes weakness on the entire right side of his body. And he explained that he plays the game on “casual” difficulty because certain speed-running strategies don’t work at higher levels.

Watching him rocket-slide on his knees past entire battles is pretty entertaining, and the ending is really exciting.
