Briefly: Even though Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 was released in November, we have a teaser for Five Nights at Freddy’s 3. The developer, Scott Games, just posted a super creepy image, suggesting the mechanical creatures are lurking. I’m ready for another jump scare, despite these games tarnishing my memories of Chuck E. Cheese.

Man, Hollywood would love this guy. So cheap and fast to release sequels and nothing but profit back. Just like cheap horror movies.
Cheap horror movies are usually the best ones, rarely do the big budget ones ever work 😉
He’s going to kill his own IP within a full 12 months at this rate.
Only if he keeps pumping them out endlessly.
Oh, so he needs to be hired by Activision or Ubisoft first?
lmfao!
My son loves these games. I think if they do a part 4, going in the area of a full 3d game, allowing you to wander around etc, would be kinda cool, changing up the gameplay somehow.
Depends, I think we get to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes. If he’s creative enough, he might be able to pull off quite a few sequels. I mean original 5NAF v 5NAF2 is the same game at heart but with added pieces to make it have quite a distinct flavor.
It’s a cool IP but I don’t know if it has much of a future regardless of whether he milks his specific game or not. I mean sure the genre will continue to exist but no game genre stays this hot forever. It’s bound to cool down by this time next year. Might as well strike while the demand is there.
I read once that it was supposedly a trilogy, so this next game should be the last of it.
It seems like most of the story has been resolved by the second game, so what the third game offers outside of perhaps shaking up the formula slightly again remains to be seen.
There are a total of 4 restaurants that we know of, and we have seen 2. I would be more than happy to go work 5 nights in Fazbears family Diner
This game is reaching Assassin’s Creed levels of whoring out the franchise.
This isn’t a franchise. It’s a small IP by an independent developer. People ate up his first and second games, it makes sense if this series of games is making him money that he would continue working on it until people stop buying it. I applaud the guy
I can see why people might think he could be rushing it, but it’s also not a AAA game being developed by an entire studio in 9 months.
It’s one guy, in a few months, on a much, much smaller game. But one filled with lore and fun game mechanics that so far have been new and fun to play with.
