Stormtroopers are comical at the best of times. Turn them into bearded Studio Ghibli sidekicks and they become downright slapstick.
And yeah, Diablo is a fantasy series, but close your eyes and try for a second to imagine it as a cyberpunk thing instead, with neon lights, hacking and sweet future motorbikes.

That Darth Vader reminds me of Cobra Commander.
I was about to make exactly that post! He really does look like him 😛
The guy to the right of Darth Vader looks like Cid from FFIV.
I have never watched a Studio Ghibli film. Would the average guy like them? I don’t watch anime.
I’d hope anyone could appreciate the charm of Ghibli movies! I mean I’m an anime fan, but I’ve known plenty of people who aren’t who have loved them.
A lot of them are fun-for-the-whole-family (like Spirited Away or Howls Moving Castle) with interesting and varied characters. If you wanted something more serious then I’d recommend Princess Mononoke (my personal favourite), which is an epic historical fantasy.
Basically Studio Ghibli produces gorgeous hand-drawn animation, some lovely movies that range from very child-oriented (Kiki’s Delivery Service) to much more adult-oriented (The Wind Rises), and doesn’t focus on some of the elements of anime that can really be offputting to some, such as fanservice or excessively silly/slapstick comedy.
Each one is a little different, but the quality of animation is top notch. Much the same as saying “would an average guy like disney/pixar movies” the answer is yes but it’ll all depend on your personal like for animation in general.
I suggest trying Nausica, mononoke, and howl’s moving castle. They are great in both english and japanese it’ll depend on your subtitle watching preference, but like all dubs the original is best.
