Yes, it’s an old joke, but it’s also an old game. If sticking one of those things on the 3DS can make it fresh again, then it can work for the other as well.

Yes, it’s an old joke
It’s also old news, this video has been on KOTAKU today already.

If you note the “(Via Kotaku AU)” at the bottom, it means it’s the US editors pushing a US article, based on an earlier one from the Au site.
Also really shows the difference between the two sites too, when the US article is just a link to the video and 2 sentences, versus the Aus article that explains what the song is, where it originated from and how to play it yourself with links to the original song.
This is known, and it wasn’t my original point. (Although I guess I probably wouldn’t have said anything if the Vita article hadn’t happened today too.)

As far as I can tell, your original point is that they posted two articles on the same topic. But if you already knew why it happens and how it can’t be helped, it makes me wonder if you had a point.
My point was, as is a common opinion at times, that Kotaku recycles news, making Kotaku AU seem more like an after thought and of less worth.
I enjoy reading Kotaku, and don’t like it when we see duplicate articles, or in the case of the Vita article that was taken down, stuff that was not ready to be posted.

Americans thinking only of other countries as an afterthought? That’s new.
Edit: People are allowed to have a higher expectation than you towards the quality of a product/ service (Or in this case, Kotaku’s article screening process). Just as you have every right to be happy with it how it is.
I will not attempt to discredit your view or try to make your views seem less important than mine by being ironic/ insinuating that you; do not know what you are talking about, don’t have a point, are not familiar with the way things work, or an add ball for thinking differently to me.
I’ll leave it at that.
It’s always a little odd though when you have the AU site re-posting an article on the US site which is re-posting an article on the AU site.
