As has become par for the course with this sort of thing, the much-anticipated launch of GTA Online‘s multiplayer heists has resulted in some woeful server troubles. We’ve been unable to play all day, and we’re definitely not alone.
Rockstar Support is reporting “limited” access to servers across all four platforms:
“We are aware of some issues today with players having problems connecting to GTA Online,” Rockstar says on their site, “as well as issues with the Xbox Live service. We are working to restore full access to GTA Online as quickly as possible.”
For my part, I’ve been unable to access GTA Online on PS4 on the few times I’ve tried over the last few hours, and neither has Evan. Which is a bummer, because we really wanted to get heisting.
Rockstar says they will be updating their support site with the game’s status. In the meantime, probably best to postpone your heisting plans until everything levels out.

Hinds in GTA V?? Sweet!!
To be expected, thousands upon thousands are logging in, although I had no issues about 2 hours ago on my PS3. So I assume it has cleared up slightly.
Good thing PC version is delayed?
Pretty much beta testing to remove all the bugs for the PC players 😀
I am glad we beta tested the fuck out of this for you guys. Because you know, we have only played the fuck out of the game while you have been waiting.
A happy coincidence at best.
It’s not R* DLC unless it comes with an avalanche of bugs and crippling connection/server issues.
The PC won’t miss out though, don’t you worry.
Everyone is just waiting for the PC version anyway
