I think we’re all sick of hearing about a certain dress and its ongoing conflict with the colour spectrum. Sony Australia couldn’t help but get a laugh in however with this tweet during the height of the apparel’s perception-bending popularity.

Ah yes, white and gold you say!
Not wanting to be left out in the cold, Xbox UK fired back with this:
White and Gold… right?! #TheDress #whiteandgold #blueandblack pic.twitter.com/oNkLaFxYCS

As far as I can see, Nintendo has yet to get in on the joke, though I’d say it’d have to be really, really good not to be instantly meet with resounding groans.

I’m sure there’s at least a Pokemon joke to be made in there somewhere 😛

Not my work, but still hilarious!
Nintendo was white and ‘blue’ before it was fashionable.

Xbox fail.
The Xbox one isn’t that funny
I wonder if Nintendo was like me and woke up wondering what the hell was going on?
Seriously had to google it last night after seeing a bunch of joke pictures on imgur and not getting the reference.
Nintendo would win bonus points in my book for staying right the f^#& away from this horseshit
Well Nintendo tends to stay away from anything on the internet.
Oh snap.
Well you know you’d need their friend code to even join in on the joke
You can tell who wants more of the attention.
