I’ve seen a lot of video-game themed cakes. I’ve even eaten some of them. But this one? This one takes the um… cake.
Created by Cara Mia Cake — based in Geelong, Victoria — the attention to detail is just spectacular. Utterly spectacular.
It was made as a wedding cake for Melbourne couple Vanessa and Chris Harding and it’s almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Most cakes of this kind look sorta like thing game/console it’s shooting for. This cake is on a whole new level.

What. How is that a cake.
What.
That is proper amazing. I’ve never seen a console-recreated-as-cake that didn’t look like if you were actually there when the photo was taken you would have heard it gurgling in a tortured voice “kill… me…”
Best way to eat it?
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A of course
I’d eat that.
The lines on the Tetris cartridge is the only thing which gives it away… slightly. I need to get married so I can have one of these =3
Cartridge looks a bit meh but i am on this planet just to nit pick and nothing more.
Do you have to blow on it to make it work? No, that’s birthday SNEScakes, my bad.
This is all kinds of win
I like how straight-forward this article (and the source) are about reporting this. All the other ones I’ve seen have been buzzfeedish “YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THIS COUPLE DID AT THEIR WEDDING DAY” and other garbage.
