Watching Balls Float In Water Is Endlessly Hypnotising

I never thought I’d get so much pleasure and enjoyment from watching three spherical objects rolling around in a bucket of water, but there you go.

And that’s just the start of this PHYSX Flex Demo. You can also watch some sort of viscous liquid get tossed around a primitive kitchen, watch milk spurt out of a clay rabbit and much, much more.

I love physics demos like these, and I hope to see this kind of tech implemented in games in the future. For me at least, details being correct and tactile is super meaningful, it makes your actions feel as though they have weight.

Anyway, let’s not deviate too far from the central theme of this post: balls floating in water. It’s a big deal you guys.

Also, if you head here, you can find out a little more information about the demo, including how to download and install it on your computer.
