iOS Gamers, The First Part Of Valiant Hearts Is Now Free

Owners of Apple-powered devices can now enjoy the first episode of Ubisoft’s Valiant Hearts: The Great War for the great price of “free”. You might remember Mark was quite taken with the game when it came out last year; you now have chance to check it out, no strings attached.

No strings, unless you really enjoy it, in which case you’ll have to cough up $10.99 to get the other three episodes, or $4.99 each, if you get them individually.

Actually, there’s other in-app purchases for the game, “special” and “double” packs, though I can’t make heads or tails of what you get with those.

Sad news for those with Android phones and tablets — according to MCV UK’s Erik Johnson, there’s no word from Ubi about 100 per cent discounts for Google Play, where the game is still $6.49.
