Twitter user Kaorukosandesu recently posted photos of the messed up figure. As you can see on the figure’s site, it’s not supposed to look like this. (That’s right, it’s part of an “Official Attack on Titan Figure Collection.”)

I’m normally in favour of your anime and Asian culture articles on Kotaku, Brian, but this one is really weak. It’s just a manufacturing slip up. This kind of thing happens with almost every manufacturing process out there, and it’s not like the result was particularly derpy or anything.
To pre-empt the typical response.
