Shadowmourne is one of the few legendary items players can acquire in World of Warcraft, and a weapon like that needs its proper real-life version. Kamuicosplay’s Svetlana Quindt made one. Her replica even has flashing lights inside and it looks just as awesome as the weapon in the game.
Forging it was a really big deal back in Wrath of the Lich King, but crafting something like this might took even more time and patience.

The spikes on the handle look like this axe would be pretty ackward to use.
The lore part of the game shows through the spikes on the handle due to the death knights use of their blood in battle.
