Archie Comics Turns To Crowdfunding For New Jughead Book

Getting an artist best known for cheesecake to draw Betty & Veronica? Another ballsy move. Archie Comics is turning to crowdfunding to help expand their upcoming reboot, pitching fans to lend support for three new series.

If funding goals are met, then a new Jughead book written by comedic genius Chip Zdarsky, a Kevin Keller solo series and the aforementioned Betty & Veronica by Adam Hughes would follow up on the Mark Waid/Fiona Staples relaunch of the main Archie book.
