The year of Luigi never ends. We’ve seen Luigi wreck everyone in Mario Party by doing nothing. He’s reigned supreme over the AI in Melee by doing nothing too. And now Omega Tyrant has managed to get Luigi to win against every level 9 character in Smash Bros. for Wii U without doing a single thing as well. Amazing.
Obviously, all of these are staged carefully for this specific outcome, but still: watching the artificial intelligence fumble with stages + Luigi’s chill is hilarious. I almost feel bad for Luigi’s opponents here. Some of these deaths are very much bullshit, a testament to Smash Bros.‘ randomness. But hey, at least everyone in this video can still claim this prestigious prize:
