Matthew Johns is an artist who has been working in the video game business for six years now, on games like Star Citizen and Traveller’s Tales’ series of LEGO games.

What you’re going to see below is The Gladiator, a fighter from the upcoming space shooter that Johns worked on. Hopefully you’ll appreciate, by looking at everything from the undercarriage to the dust on the displays, just how many polygons go into something like this.
