    Oh wow, that Longsword does look purty.
    Is that High Charity in the fourth pic? Looks incredible.

    Every time I look at that Longsword, my brain yells "That is basically the entire reason why humanity got its ass handed to it by the covenant."

    We designed an atmospheric fighter through and through and then chucked it as a starfighter?? They couldn't design 2 separate aircraft for clearly independent roles??

      Halo is another of the sci-fi universes that align with the "space as air" theory. None of the ships (human or otherwise) resemble anything that looks like it could be a real spacecraft. They only have forward thrusters!
