Remember This?

Well done to dr_neeson, who quickly guessed that yesterday's game was indeed Castlevania on the NES. Not the one that came out a few years ago, which figured out the only way to improve on a classic is to add Patrick Stewart. Now for today's.

Good luck!

    Secret of Mana

Possibly even Secret of Evermore. It has that mode 7 overhead map vibe.

    G-Police.

Don't think it's right, but you are a boss for mentioning that game.

With all the HD remasters we've been getting lately I'd really love for someone to resurrect that franchise.

It had an amazing sense of freedom and scale, the movement system made it way more fun than character-based games.

Also colony wars was amazing. Gratuitous space battles are always welcome.

Edit: A game I'd love to see come back was Quarantine. It was probably my first open world game experience, had great style, car combat, and an all-Australian soundtrack (oddly).

I came back to see if this had been solved yet and saw your post. Quarantine was an awesome game, I played it to death back in the day. Would love a modern remake.

I don't know why I'm saying this, but Syndicate?

Looks like the map from something.

Could it be Syndicate or Syndicate Wars?

Seiken Densetsu 3, for the same reasons that Gemini picked Secret of Mana. It looks like the castle by night after a cannon shot.

Contra Alien Wars? Reminds me of the top-down levels

I'll take my prize money in Bison Dollars thanks, I am also thinking one of the Syndicate games.

Looks like a really blurry, rotated view of Pacman to me.

It's like the crossy road pac man as seen through extremely squinted eyes.

Is it Pilotwings? It could be either SNES or N64. Possibly skydiving or jetpack.
