This Week In Games: Nothing. THERE IS NOTHING.

It's E3 week and Steam Sales week. Together. This means zero new video games.

Almost zero. About as close to zero as you're ever likely to get. Honestly, I cannot believe that on Steam, with its beyond-lousy quality control, there are only two new games coming out this week. Usually there are about 30. Insane.

Legends of Pixelia (PC)

What is it? A pixeley RPG with 'modern mechanics' according to the blurb. Should you care? I actually like the aesthetic. Might actually be smart for this to release during E3 week. There is literally NOTHING else coming out.

LEGO Jurassic World (360/PS3/Xbox One/PS4/3DS/PS Vita/PC)

What is it? It's a video game based on Jurassic World, which just had the best opening week of any movie ever. Should you care? Man, LEGO games are a bit played out as far as I'm concerned, but if you want to buy a new movie this week? This is pretty close to your only choice.

Pro Cycling Manager 2015 (PC)

What is it? I can't believe this game series exists, but I'm kinda glad it does. Should you care? I used to work alongside a cycling news website and I know they are all going to buy this game. I know it.

Still annoyed that the Wii U version of Lego Jurassic World has been delayed in Australia.

That's a bit shit/entirely predictable. I bet the last gen versions aren't delayed either, right?

Just the Wii U, and no reason from WB as to why either.

As I mentioned in TAY, Steam released LJW on Friday. I played it all weekend and it's super fun!

So dang excited for Lego Jurassic Park. Yeah, that's right. Jurassic Park.

Yep. That will be the best part of the game I'm sure. :)

I wish that was the title too!

But honestly - so surprised how much I enjoyed Jurassic World... easily the 2nd best in the franchise.

@serrels if Lego games are played out where does this leave ass creed??

But in all seriousness I do agree they are not exactly reinventing the wheel, but hey it works

the good thing is, I have never played a lego game for any meaningful length of time so Lego Jurassic World will be my first experience of it (assuming the WiiU version comes out soon)

Dude, you NEED to buy Lego city! It is by far my favourite Lego game. It is very, very funny, makes loads of adult-level references, and uses the gamepad pretty damned well.

The loading times kinda suck, but they're not too frequent. The game is huge though, and has an amazing ending sequence.

If you own a Wii u and like the Lego formula, it's an absolute necessity.

All the more time for playing Witcher 3 :-) I've clocked up about 3.5 days' play-time and am in the middle of the Bloody Baron quest. I have beaten all Gwent players that I've come across, but haven't yet engaged in fisticuffs or horse racing. I've probably picked around 1000 flowers and herbs and looted every peasant's home that I've walked past (those peasants horde some surprising materials)!

I really like the idea of lego jurassic park but want to see the movie first. The lego movie videogame was just basically a retelling of the movie interspersed between some platforming action - I like that but I want to watch the film first!

I am going to buy the shit out of Lego Jurassic World.

Jurassic world might be on my ps4 to buy list my son wants it quite badly so i should be a good dad and get it for him if not i will get it for his DS.

Get it for the ps4 and then play with him

Yeah i might, i just hope it is not a buggy mess like the Lego Movie game was on PS4.

To be fair a lot of Nintendo stuff gets delayed because it's annoying to port to, they could be just fixing a few unexpected kinks.
