Briefly: Call of Duty: Black Ops III kicks off its multiplayer beta next month. PS4 owners get (first!) access August 19 through August 23, while Xbox One and PC players can jump in August 26 through August 30. What you’ll actually be playing — maps, weapons — has yet to be revealed.

Beta will last just 5 days????
In the video trailer it says you have to pre order to get access to the Beta. Not falling for that again!!
Oh right, Sony stumped up the most money this year.
Timed exclusive beta access, the four worst words in the industry.
I wish exclusives didn’t exist at all, personally. They’re only there to serve the financial interests of the hardware vendor, but the consumer loses out.
I have no problem with real exclusives; games optimised to make use of the hardware often bring variety or maintain a strong brand flavour.
The scourge is hardware companies paying third parties extra money to deny other platforms. The only winners are the execs of those companies, and we go down the path that leads to homogenisation of the platforms, retail exclusive dlc, timed exclusive season passes, and preordering to play demos.
And if the platform owner says no to this bullshit, we see something like that exceptional smear campaign EA set up against the Wii u. That was spectacular!
only 4 days…. yeah this is just a cash grab, not to fix any bugs or anything
Nothing I hate more then timed exclusives, even if it is only for a beta
