Fine Art: A Different Take On ‘Medieval’ Africa

Sebastian Gromann is a concept artist who works at Karakter, a German studio whose Game of Thrones stuff we’ve featured here before. Some of the stuff Sebastian has worked on recently include Horizon: New Dawn and the upcoming Black Ops III.

The African images you see below are from his personal project called Big Five, which imagines a world where medieval Portugese settlers land in Ghana and change the course of history.

You can see more of Gromann’s work at his personal site.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.
