Goddammit. I’m generally not a fan of Collector’s Editions — specifically when they’re exclusive to specific stores — but I have to admit, this is a good one.
The Mad Max Post-Apocalypse Edition, which is exclusive (urgh) to EB Games (and Australia) comes with a copy of Mad Max: Fury Road on Blu-Ray. Damn, that is a great idea.
It also comes with other stuff. The kind of stuff that normally comes with ‘Collector’s Editions’– steelbook cover, extra DLC that no-one really cares about.
But Mad Max: Fury Road? On Blu-Ray? Arguably the best action movie in a decade? Damn, that’s way better than a sub-par figurine gathering dust on the shelf.
You could, of course, just buy the Blu-Ray separately, but the Mad Max game is shaping up quite nicely, so this might be a two birds with one stone thing.

The additional cost of the special edition is $30 above the base game, which is quite probably more than the Blu-Ray will cost at JB. Sadly, I don’t think is enough to get me to splash out.
Yeah I can’t justify that price when I could get the game for $70 at Big W or Target and the Blu-Ray for $30 at JB, think i’ll just buy them separately and have the added bonus of reading a couple of reviews of the game before purchasing.
Me either, which is why this one looks especially bad.
I read the title thinking this was a special edition of the movie, not the game. Couldn’t work out why you were so excited about blu ray.
Model of the Interceptor plz..

After looking it up online, I’ve decided I’d rather have this: http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/mad-max-fury-road-collector-s-edition-3d/11147020.html
The Blu-Ray comes with the Interceptor, the game does not, makes sense..
Oh man this would be so tempt… oh… I see PC misses out on special editions again… nevermind
I actually wonder how much of that is because of digital copies? It would be easy to rectify with a digital copy of Mad Max movie with the gane, right?
Not available for PC… Well, I’ll just get the movie separately from JB Hi-Fi.
Why would you event want the PC version after Arkham Knight. Everyone planning on getting Mad Max on PC should take the wait and see approach.
Can’t wait to get the Blu-Ray, I hope it’ll have plenty of special features.
JB’s page lists the blu-ray special features.
Special Features:
Maximum Fury: Filming Fury Road Documentary
Mad Max: Fury on Four Wheels Documentary
The Road Warriors: Max and Furiosa Featurette
The Tools of the Wasteland Featurette
Fury Road: Crash & Smash Featurette
Deleted Scenes
Previously touted blu ray features also included a black and white version of the film that’s entirely devoid of dialogue. I hope that’s still a part of it, because I personally can’t wait to see it.
Yeah, I heard there’s a black and white version plus a colour version with only the score (ie. no dialogue or sound FX).
Thanks! I love special features :3
JB have an exlusive “ripper” edition

This sucks that no one can get it in north America if it did come where I live I’ll be getting it for sure. Any one fill the same?
How can anyone think that is a good deal?
Mediocre
It’s a shame the game looks mediocre.
Wait this game has dlc? Boycott
It’s a good idea, but I’ll be picking them up separately from my work.
The Bourne Conspiracy game did this as well, launching a special edition that came packaged with The Bourne Ultimatum.
