This Australian Indie Games Documentary Has A Brilliant Twist

I don't want to say anything about this video. I don't want to ruin it. Let's just say that this video takes a really awesome little twist about a third of the way through, and it's brilliant.

I'm honestly just gonna leave it there. Watch this. I think it's great. It also makes some really, great interesting point.

Also: super funny. It just keeps getting better and better as it goes.

Brings a tear to my eye. I love hearing about indie developers catching a lucky break

Their indie game is Call of Duty: AW.

Not a fan of CoD but that didn't even raise a smirk from me?

    Well that's 6m11s I'm never getting back.

Repeating a cultural reference is not a joke.

Was promised it got better as it goes.
It never even got to a smile level.

What is this shit? I would have rather been giving the skin on my ball sack a thorough deep pore cleanse with a belt sander for those 6 minutes...

I'm confused. Didn't Infinity Ward stop being independent developers when they were bought by Activision back in 2003, which was the year they started releasing Call of Duty?

It's very odd to treat the origins of Call of Duty as an originally indepent game (albeit satirically) when the developer was never indie to begin with. Unfortunately the attempted comedic effect is lost when facts get in the way.

      Just so we understand:
You're saying that anytime that somebody warps a fact for the sake of a joke, it ruins the joke?

      Perhaps comedy isn't for you.

*Opening shot* "Hmm that place seems awfully familiar... WAIT I WAS THERE JUST TODAY. THAT'S MY SCHOOL!"

These are the indie games I like. I want more Call Of Duty games... please!
