A Real-Life First Person Shooter Controlled By People On Chatroulette

When I was a kid there was this game-show called ‘Knightmare‘. The premise: one kid would be blindfolded and his friends would guide him through a digitally created Fantasy game using only the power of speech. It was kinda like Twitch plays for the 80s.

Anyway, imagine that. Except imagine doing it for a first-person shooter. Imagine doing it with Chatroulette. Yeah.

I’m not doing a great job of explaining this, but it’s awesome. Really well done.

Everything about this is great. The little Doom-style face, the protagonist’s voice, the way they reload weapons. It’s all just perfect. They even have the dark, spooky horror level. GENIUS.

One guy on Chatroulette: “THIS IS LIKE THE LAST OF US FOR SOME REASON”.

Brilliant. There’s even a boss battle…
