This themed cafe was created by artist Sebastian Masuda, who’s famous for his cuter than cute fashion shop 6% Doki Doki and creating the look for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s “PonPonPon” music video.
I’ve always been a fan of Masuda’s work (which is why I interviewed him for my book Japanese Schoolgirl Confidential) and love how he can take Japan’s concept of kawaii and give it an edge.
