ReCore Might Be Coming To PC After All

ReCore was announced at E3 this year as an Xbox One exclusive, but it turns out that might not be entirely true.

The website portfolio for Bobby Pavlock, who is currently working at Armature Studio on ReCore and whose resume includes time on Duke Nukem Forever, Daikatana and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, says ReCore is a “Xbox One and Windows 10” exclusive. (Here’s a screenshot for posterity).

This runs contrary to the information and trailer on the official site, where Windows 10 is not mentioned at all.

“Having just been announced, I am not at liberty to post any more details about the game just yet, but Microsoft has big plans for the game and the IP over the coming year,” Pavlock wrote.

It’s nice to see that the PC — at least Windows 10 — isn’t being left out of the loop. But you have to wonder what effect inadvertently revealing the information might have. Other developers have been fired for accidentally leaking information on their portfolio and LinkedIn profiles, and I hope a similar outcome doesn’t happen here.
