It's an art project called "Rolling Sushi" designed to look like conveyor belt sushi. This week, Rolling Sushi was floated through Osaka's iconic Dotonbori river.
[Photos: Rolling Sushi [Facebook]] Fitting, because in 1958, Japan's first conveyor belt sushi restaurant, Genrokuzushi, opened in Osaka.
This week was a test run to make sure they floated ok and how they responded when pulled by a boat. Rolling Sushi will be on display in Osaka from early to mid October.
