Minecrafters Built The Best-Looking Homes Out Of A Simple Block

Planet Minecraft’s first solo contest, Penthouse, Sweet!, came to an end recently. Appropriately enough, the results are quite sweet.

Players were tasked with taking the simple structure found on the contest map, which looked like this, basically a metal block:

And decorating its interior to make it into a proper penthouse suite. Apart from the building’s quartz/iron structure, builders were allowed to change or add anything, which allowed for wildly different themes and looks.

And indeed, the top three builds are very different from each other even though they have the same base. Here’s the one that nabbed first place:

Called Hasu – Lotus Traditional Suites, it has an oriental theme. It was built by Tech Zero. Second place is:

The luxurious Parisian apartment, La Suite Bellevue, by Knuckles527. And finally, number three:

City Vibe, done by Block_Fortress in a retro-modern style.
