The Witcher 3's First Expansion, Hearts Of Stone, Comes Out October 13.

The Witcher 3's first expansion, Hearts of Stone, comes out October 13. As if you needed more things to play. Says developer CD Projekt Red: "The expansion lets you choose your own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures Geralt has ever faced."

I am still feeling burnt by the ending of the game. If you are playing the Witcher 3 for the first time, I urge you to read up about your choices and how they affect the end of the game. I have never felt so disappointed in my life!

Reading up on the ending would kind of defeat the purpose of the game and soften any emotional ties you've experienced throughout your playthrough

Yeah, I read about some of those endings and they were... less than ideal.

The fact you are upset gives so much credit to the writing. I was in tears till the last moment where I breathed a sigh of relief but at the same time I thought I took out a character that effects the war but didn't and got some events I didn't like one bit. Awesome that I am happy/content yet still a tad shitty.

Yaaaaay! I may have actually finished vanilla Wicher 3 by then...

I finished TW3 a few months ago and haven't found anything to fill the whole yet, this will do.

Very excited to get back into the world of the Witcher.

I actually just finished Witcher 3 on the weekend. Took over 29 days, doing every single side quest, witcher contract, treasure hunt etc that I could lay my hands on. I loved it, but after spending that much time with it I think I'm done. Doubt I'll go back for more.

Hats off to you sir! I am still slowly witching away, almost a part time job.

Didn't actually do EVERY sidquest/contract... there are a couple of bugged ones that couldn't be finished. When I encountered them I'd go back to an earlier save and leave them. If they get fixed in a future patch I might go finish them off just for completion's sake.

I ws hoping the expansions would let you...

Play them as Ciri in the, since most endings seem to end with Geralt "hanging up the swords" so to speak and Ciri is basically the new Witcher on the block

still not enough to compel to even want to finish it.
Got bored after the fiftieth use witcher sense to track monster and kill it quest /yawn
