DBZ Tribute is not an official project — but damn if it doesn’t look hot anyway.
The project is the work of a number of professional artists who have come together to create a computer-generated animated sequence that will act as a tribute to Akira Toriyama’s work. So far, there are only teasers. Despite that, what little I’ve seen has me pretty excited about the final project, though.
For one, the enemies seem realistic and terrifying:
Goku’s expressions are fantastic, and the dialogue captures that classic Dragon Ball humour:
The Kamehameha makes its obligatory appearance:
Some stills from the project…
There’s more to come, but for now, it might be worth checking out the artists on the project. They include…
Javier Zumaeta, who has worked on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Bruno Camara, who has worked on Ryse: Son of Rome.

Looks super hot!
Though i do feel like the phrase “Looks Like A Pixar Movie” gets thrown around here way too liberally…
Couldn’t agree with you more on the second remark. It’s like Pixar is the only type of animated movie that they know of around here…
Dang thats a real different look, and I love it. Can’t wait to see the end result.
P.S. Buu looks ridiculously sick in black.
Buu looks awesome. Goku looks amazing as well but I think something is off about his face.
It could just be the angle, but I think his jaw is too wide.
Yeah, looks like they’re going for that Streetfighter look on Goku’s face. Not sure if I like it though.
Definitely does not look like a pixar movie, because it lacks quality especially with Goku’s weird face.
That looks… amazeballs…? Yeah, i think that’s an equivalent word to surmise what I just saw.
AMAZEBALLS!
I Would totes kickstart this
Looks more like a modern Disney /non-Pixar/ production. (Think Big Hero 8 or Wreck-It Ralph.)
Nice click bait
But will it be as good as the live action movie? :p
