Marza Animation Planet is joining forces with Capcom for a feature-film length CG Resident Evil flick. It’s slated for a 2017 worldwide release.
According to Inside, filmmaker Takashi Shimizu (creator of Ju-on) will be the executive producer, Takanori Tsujimoto is directing, and Makoto Fukami, a scribe for Psycho-Pass, is writing the script.
There have been previous Resident Evil CG movies, but this is a complete reboot. The movie will feature the characters Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers.

Good I really like the CG movies.
Seeing Makoto Fukami as the script writer has me rather enthusiastic about this because he did great work on Psycho-Pass and the movie adaption.
Even if this film ends up only as good as Degeneration, then that’s still better than the live-action movies (imo).
