This enormous fake cat might look creepy, but let's not be so quick to judge. There's a gentle soul under that nightmare fuel.
Earlier this year, Kotaku first reported that Kuroneko Yamato (Black Cat Yamato), a Japanese shipping service, set up a huge cat-faced billboard in Shibuya. Now, this fall, the company rolled out a full giant cat in Shinjuku.
Imagine walking along and seeing THIS:
According to Excite News, the cat is six meters long and over two meters tall. If you press the cat's nose, it does this:

Aw. That's so nice.

Inside that box are various Kuroneko Yamato goods, like t-shirts, stickers, and more.
To get the box out of the cat's mouth, it must be first put in the cat's butt — or near butt region.
As you can see in this photo by Kokubu Camera, the huge cat is good at drawing a crowd. It's because the cat is so kind. That's why.

The big cat will be in Shinjuku until October 4. There are plans for it to appear at ten locations across Japan until next January.
