This enormous fake cat might look creepy, but let’s not be so quick to judge. There’s a gentle soul under that nightmare fuel.
Earlier this year, Kotaku first reported that Kuroneko Yamato (Black Cat Yamato), a Japanese shipping service, set up a huge cat-faced billboard in Shibuya. Now, this fall, the company rolled out a full giant cat in Shinjuku.

According to Excite News, the cat is six meters long and over two meters tall. If you press the cat’s nose, it does this:

Inside that box are various Kuroneko Yamato goods, like t-shirts, stickers, and more.

To get the box out of the cat’s mouth, it must be first put in the cat’s butt — or near butt region.

The big cat will be in Shinjuku until October 4. There are plans for it to appear at ten locations across Japan until next January.
