The Korean eSports star Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok is so good at League of Legends that fans have taken to calling him “God.” The honorific makes a lot of sense, given how wrathful the pro player just showed himself to be.
In this short clip that recently went viral on the League of Legends subreddit, an unsuspecting European team is playing against Faker — likely during his off-time from the League of Legends World Championships in which he’s currently playing. They recognise who he is, even start to say hello. All he has to say in response is: “no.”
The clip starts to get really good seven or eight seconds in. That’s when Faker — who’s playing under the handle TK — starts chasing after the enemy Azir.
Azir is the dude wearing gold and red armour and running down the river. Knowing who he was up against when he was already low and health and mana, he decided to just try and book it in the opposite direction. But Faker wasn’t gonna let him off that easy.
Azir flashes the logo for SKT, Faker’s team and the 2013 League of Legends World Champions. Is it a taunt, a plea to let the poor man live, a sign of deference to God? Faker doesn’t seem to care.
“Mercy,” Azir types into the all-chat window. He’s clearly stopped trying to fight at that point. But it’s too late.
If it’s any consolation to the Azir player here, I’d sure feel great for just being killed by the best League of Legends player out there.

Another tale from your personal LoL fanboi blog.
There is only one God… And his name is Lee Young-ho!
Jaedong tho.
He doesn’t just kill Azir, he uses his ult while right next to him. Ultimate disrespect.
He actually sounds like a bit of a dick
