YouTube’s Top 10 ‘Trending’ Games For September

YouTube’s top two trending games from last month should be no surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention: Metal Gear Solid V and Mario Maker, two of the year’s most watchable games, take top honours.

This is according to YouTube’s metrics, which take into account both total uploads and watch time. Here’s the full top-ten list for September:

  1. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  2. Super Mario Maker
  3. NBA 2K16
  4. FIFA 16
  5. Mad Max
  6. Disney Infinity 2.0
  7. Forza Motorsport 6
  8. Skylanders: Superchargers
  9. SOMA
  10. Lego Dimensions

Any big shockers? Gotta say I’m surprised at the omissions of both Destiny and Madden. And good for SOMA, the only indie game to make it this month.
