This Week In Games: 2015 Still Has Some Juice Left

The major releases are all but done and dusted, but 2015 still has some juice in it.

Just Cause 3 is the big humdinger coming out this week. What are you planning to pick up this week?

DRAGON QUEST HEROES™ Slime Edition (PC)

What is it? It’s a Dragon Quest game. On PC! Whoo!
Should you care? I know very little about this game, but it seems to have reviewed pretty well.

CITYCONOMY: Service for your City (PC)

What is it? This is a game that takes the whole ‘simulation’ thing to new banal heights. Manage the garbage, tow cars, trim hedges. Video games are weird.
Should you care? This is like that Simpsons Yard Simulator game on a grand scale. I don’t understand this at all.

Expander (PC)

What is it? It’s a fast paced reaction game. Looks like an absolutely mind bender.
Should you care? I think this looks good. I like these kind of games. Will have you launching keyboards/controllers at walls.

Just Cause 3 (Xbox One/PS4/PC)

What is it? It’s that game where you do mental shit all of the time and everything explodes.
Should you care? I’m still pretty excited for this Just Cause 2 was superb.

Rainbow Six: Siege (Xbox One/PS4/PC)

What is it? Wait, this is coming out this week? I completely forgot about this.
Should you care? I love the concept: stripping back the shooter and making it team based and whatnot.

Store Manager: Cellular Edition (PC)

What is it? Two insane sim games in one week. This is your lucky day!
Should you care? Live your dream of becoming a store manager!

Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

What is it? Again — this is coming out this week? Goddamn, this week is a proper sleeper.
Should you care? Apparently this doesn’t quite reach the heights of the last game in the series, but still — a big release for the Wii U. Not many of those these days.

Yo-Kai Watch (3DS)

What is it? It’s kind of a Pokemon style thing. People are hyped on this game.
Should you care? I don’t know enough about this. I can’t see myself getting excited for it, but Pokemon fans should investigate.
