I hope it’s cross-gen play, so more people will be playing Halo: Reach. Been starting streaming some Reach games last night, took a while to get into a game.
All BC titles (with MP) are cross-gen, xb1 plays perfectly with original 360 gamers.
Well its kind of like you are still playing on the 360, so you’ll be able to play other 360 players no problems 🙂
It’s “backward” compatibility, without the s, not “backwards”.
I never noticed but good point. Another fallacy like when people say ATM Machine.
It PIN number.
I am disappointed at the lack of Bioshock Infinite for Christmas. I do like that more Squeenix titles are making the cut, hopefully we’ll see more from them, like the Hitman series before the new one makes it out.
I was disappointed about Bioshock Infinite in general
and then the fanwankers made it worse.
Yep I want Hitman Absolution
Hurry up on Dark Souls microsoft overlords
Its not MS but the games publisher (FromSoftware/Namco Bandi Games) that needs to give permission.
It was on a list at some point a few months back so I’m assuming they did, probably be ready to go before ds3
Maybe included the same way Fallout 3 was included with 4.
sadly the directors cut of deus ex human revolution was not included and considering that version is the best way to play it, it seems a bit silly them doing only the base game
It’s funny you say that. I’ve only ever played the base game on XBOX, but was sitting in a conversation between friends and someone was strongly advocating skipping the directors cut in favour of the base game. The rationale being that yes, the boss fights might be garbage but the directors cut introduced so many bugs that were never fixed that its not worth the journey. This was last year and they were talking about the pc version so not sure if that was different.
Motocross Madness in that list caught my eye. I can remember playing that on my first computer – a pentium 166mhz with 16mb ram around 1998 – and enjoying it more than I thought I would (it came free with a microsoft sidewinder gamepad that was basically a boomerang shaped snes pad equivalent with rudimentary tilt sensor).
Is this xbox version a remake / hd upgrade, spiritual successor, or a racing game sharing the same name with little else in common? My intuition is telling me it’s the latter, but I would absolutely adore it to be a remake (or even a simple HD re-release.)
Deus Ex, Halo Reach, Iron Brigade (remember when it was called trenched?), Splosion Man and Peggle are all good gets for me
Wish they’d put the Orange Box up instead
Anyone else wanna guess that Deus Ex might be a Jan GWG? I would love for Braid to be GWG, never did get around to buying it
You’ll have to hope that Valve/EA give permission for Orange Box to come out in the BC program.
I want RDR, but it seems that Rockstar aren’t playing ball.
I’m waiting for the red dead redemption ‘ultimate edition’, thats the only explanation i can think of for why they haven’t put it up yet 🙁
Swear I’ve had Braid on there for ages…
A nice list… but doritos crash course? lol
