It’s December. This year is almost over. Now is a good time for people to look back and recount their favourite anime series of 2015. In Japan, website Goo Ranking polled 500 men and women in their 20s and 30s, asking them which anime series they liked best this year.
Here are the top ten:

Lupin continues its domination.
Lupin and JoJo are classics.
One punch man is the only title on that list that I have personally enjoyed.
I made the mistake of reading the manga, and the anime follows thw manga so closely every episode I watch feels like deja vu.
That can only be a good thing as people say the manga is great.

how good is next weeks anime gonna be. im so excited for the
moon sequence. cracked me up in the manga.Then you can explain to me why it is so liked. I couldn’t find anything likable about it. His daily life is boring , his superhero life is boring. What’s to like about it?
thats the whole thing. hes just a lazy ass OP uncaring average jo whos not so average. and it takes jabs at a whole tonne of anime/manga titles.
then the fact that once he registers with the hero association, even though his physical self is off the charts, his written test put him in Class C of heroes. where as his follower made it into Class S. then its about him trying to up his ranking, but because his so OP, everyone thinks hes cheating or playing the system and rankings and then watching him deal with that just funny. definitely give it about 5 episodes i reckon.
not to mention the action sequences are awesome.
One Punch Man is the only show I’ve actually watched on the list, though I’ll probably get around to Prison School at some point ‘cos I do enjoy the manga a fair bit.
Tried watching Prison School at the behest of a mate and it is just fanservice after fanservice with softcore hentai feel for people who are into that. Stopped watching after 2nd episode, one of the tropest animes.
I agree its softcore hentai, and I wouldnt tell anyone but a cpl of other anime fan friends I watched it… but I liked it alot, good show.
1. Surprised to not see One Punch Man higher. It’s the only thig I ever hear anyone talk about these days.
2. WORKING!!!? Isn’t that the anime with the theme song that goes “Someone ONE ONE Someone ONE ONE Someone ONE ONE etc?” That shit’s catchy.
3. EDIT: Prison School got higher than One Punch Man?!?! I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.

I did like Ore Monogatari!!!, but there is nothing like One Punch Man.
My wife liked prison school, I know that much.
Prison School was so much better than I thought it would be lol, Kuroko and Haikyu were great if u like a sports Anime and Assassination Classroom was very good I thought. One Punch Man reminded me of DBZ for some reason but really had its own its own style….I watch way too much of this stuff 🙂

I’ve really been enjoying OPM lately. The fun take on comic and manga/anime tropes is an absolute pisser.
It’s been a while since I’ve found myself giggling through a series nonstop, awaiting the moment when the serious and dramatic narrative gets upended by Saitama.
On that list I actually enjoyed Ushio and Tora and Haikyu.
It’s a japanese poll right? that’s why one punch man is so low.. they take anime a little too seriously, and OPM is meant to be a bit of a joke. I think the western world definitely likes it more than japanese audiences do, which is a shame because it probably won’t be renewed for another season :'(
My list would have been OPM and Lupin III as equal top (or OPM as second)
I logged just to tell you one thing.
There will be season two for one punch man because otherwise saitama will wreck havoc everywhere if it is not!
On serious note, author said he will work hard on season two 🙂

ive read a lot of the JoJos manga. first two ‘seasons’ or arcs of the manga were awesome, then it started getting worse, but i havnt seen any of the latest manga. let alone the anime.
i love one punch man, i look forward to it every week. the anime and the manga.
despite what people say, i still look forward to Dragonball Super every week too.
recently just jumped on to Kill La Kill – cracks me up.
also i need to get back into catching up on Fairy Tail. its one of the big ones that i decided not to read the manga, and just watch the anime, even though im a 30 year old married man with a daughter, i still find it an awesome escape and giggle fest.
I didn’t make it past the first episode of one punch man. He is overpowered, knows it, and is bored. It just didn’t appeal to me.
I’m surprised at prison school’s inclusion since it certainly didn’t appeal to me but then again slightly ecchi is not my flavour
