Time to get ready — and excited — for a new anime season. You might know what you are excited to see, but here’s what anime fans in Japan are looking forward to watching in the 2016 Winter season (Summer in Australia).
Website Charapedia polled 10,000 anime fans in Japan, asking them which show they were more looking forward to. Out of that sample, 47.4 per cent were men, while 52.6 per cent were women and nearly 70 per cent were in their teens and 20s with the rest above 30 years old.

I’m sure I’d be looking forward to some of these too if they were accompanied by a plot synopsis.
I was thinking the exact same thing. 20 titles in a language I don’t understand isn’t particularly helpful.

I have to say it looks rather cool and well done and I was quite off-put by Knights of Sidonia. Still looking forward to it.

Gate was a surprise of season past. After a slow start it had some great high points.
