Video: The recently-released Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India plays OK (very much like ACC: China before it), but, wow, does it look pretty. The game’s artists took splendid advantage of how rare it is to see a game set in India. I had to capture some footage to show you. Enjoy!

Looks nice. Reminds me a little of the series’ spiritual predecessor Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Funny you say that, PoP:Sot and AC1/2 were all directed by the same guy (Patrice Désilets)! You should check out Double Fine’s “Devs Play” series! It’s pretty interesting hearing about the things he could/couldn’t do in both (ie rewind was left out of AC because it was too difficult to implement at AC’s scale). Pretty great watch!

haha, the series has come full circle:
PoP –> Modern PoP 3d –> AC Offshoot –> Fully fledged AC Franchise –> “New” 2d AC… which is modern PoPLove it, looks amazing.

Well its runs fine on my Surface Pro 4 with lowest resolution. Just takes time to load compared to my PC.

This would be annoying as hell to play on mobile. It’s just a 2d stealth platformer…. plenty of them around in the 80s/90s.

A very nice vivid, rich looking game, the classic style game play looks cool too.
Deffs on my list to check it out -

I personally think that a landscape can dramatically improve a game. I think thats why i liked black flag so much. There are not too many pirate games done well with heaps of cool islands and sailing etc. Half the fun was running through an island, killing “local” animals and ending up on the other side
